My first flight ever.
I was minding my own business, when this woman wielding a bottle of whiskey in one hand and dragging a cabin bag with the other just came up to me and hauled me off the shelf. "She announced that I looked a bit geeky, so she was going to call me Widget and I would keep her company on her long journey. I didnt ask for this. Who knows .... I could be air sick, and what kind of food am I going to exposed to? Even worse I can't read Arabic and shes dragging me through Dubai. The good stuff so far is that we got through the queue quickly. The Emirates crew as always, smiling cheerful and very caring and helpful. I'm so pleased that my first flight is on an A380. This is a super HUGE plane. Down side is were flying cattle class, and it's full of screaming children. Widget is not going to get any sleep! I've tucked myself, safely away for take off. Let's see how the flight goes. Now I'm going to ask St Anthony for a safe journey.
